Community Preservation Committee approves three warrant articles and $18,422 in restoration funding.

SHIRLEY — The Shirley Community Preservation Committee unanimously approved three warrant articles and $18,422 in funding for the Meeting House Ladies Parlor restoration on April 15. Chair Jay Duffner and the committee backed the project to convert the second-floor room into a gallery for historical artifacts including an 1839 lending library and 19th-century family portraits. The committee also voted to appropriate $30,000 in Community Preservation Act General Funds to the Affordable Housing Trust's Temporary Rental Assistance Program for fiscal year 27, with funds expiring June 30, 2029, and mandated annual state reporting.
Annual CPA revenues of $121,334.30 were allocated to the fund reserve.
