Conservation Commission approves enforcement order, continues Fredonian Park hearing

Shirley Conservation Commission unanimously approves enforcement order at tree-clearing site. Chair Jennifer McGuinness and the seven-member commission approved an enforcement order against the McNulty property at 43 Clark Road for tree clearing and excavation within the 200-foot riverfront area, voting 7-0. The commission also unanimously continued a public hearing on a proposed ADA walking path at Fredonian Nature Center (Fredonian Park) to February 24.

The commission unanimously approved an $80 registration fee to send a member to the 2026 Massachusetts Land Conservation Conference on March 13 at UMass Amherst.
