Shirley Council on Aging advances June board elections after approving prior minutes. Chair Marie Elwyn will step down after her second term expires; Secretary Laurie Witherell will remain for a second term. Director Amy Leonard reported partnerships with Springdell Farms for $25 senior produce boxes, consultation with the historic commission on flagpole lighting, and outreach to MassSave for facility improvements including a hot water heater.
The board tabled a decision on replacing disposable with real silverware and will continue discussing election options at the May 11 meeting.
