Shirley Community Preservation Committee approves advertising fee and rental assistance launch. The committee unanimously backed a $100 advertisement in Shirley Local and discussed potential outreach in the Lowell Sun. Stuart Sears reported that the Shirley Rental Assistance Program, funded with $30,000 for low-income households in FY2027, will accept applications beginning February 16, 2026; an appointed coordinator outside the Housing Committee will review eligibility to protect applicant confidentiality.
The committee also received an invoice for a parking and public outdoor space feasibility study involving the Greenway Committee.
