SHIRLEY — The Enhancing Shirley Committee approved its Welcome Wagon packet front cover design and received printing quotes of $1,600 for 300 color copies from Nashoba Tech, with $180 in resident pre-payments already collected. Chair Candace King and committee members coordinated Memorial Day beautification, assembling 25 whiskey barrel planters with volunteer support from Debbie Flagg, Chuck King, and Sheila Checchi for placement at Veterans Row and Whiteley Park. The committee also advanced plans for Whiteley Park holiday lighting, including potential scissor lift rental and a resident-lit Christmas star, while volunteer Harvey Flagg prepared LED flag display frames for installation.
