SHIRLEY — Enhancing Shirley Committee unanimously approves holiday décor order. Committee Chair Candace King, Vice Chair Kayla Rose, and member Adeline Rodriguez voted to purchase part of this year's holiday décor from Wintergreen with a 10 percent deposit required. King and Rose have updated seasonal displays at Whiteley Park and Veterans Row, installing red and white Valentine décor and path lights; green and white displays are planned for March.
King will consult with the Department of Public Works and Fire Chief Cooley about removing lights at Whiteley Park.
