Shirley Planning Board unanimously approved two single-family dwellings at 0 Great Road, parcels 78 A 2 and 78 A 2.1, subject to conservation commission clearance and sewerage compliance. Vice Chair William Oelfke moved approval of the site plan and special permits for Apple Valley Homes, LLC, with all four conditions-based votes passing 4-0. The project occupies wetland-rich, environmentally sensitive terrain in the Great Road-West Mixed-Use District and requires Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act notification.
Board member Asa Losurdo presented an informal discussion on behalf of Front Street Cooperative Inc. for a mixed-use commercial space at 37 Front Street featuring small restaurants and retail consignment shops; he will return with detailed building plans.
