Shirley Recreation Commission approves bills and reviews program updates across youth and adult sports. Katie Aponte and Jonathan Deforge were unanimously approved to handle billing and minutes review. Summer in Shirley expects 2 or 3 charitable fund scholarships; Penguins Swim Team hit 38-swimmer capacity; Shirley Youth Soccer registration closes March 26th.
The commission discussed inviting a Select Board member to present departmental requests including grant writers for Wilde Road field acquisition and potential town funding for field maintenance.
