Select Board approves town warrant, pole hearing, heating grant program

Shirley Select Board clears town warrant with 26 articles approved unanimously. Chair Brian Hildebrant and Vice Chair Andree Jean Jacques endorsed all articles for the May Annual Town Meeting, scheduled at Ayer-Shirley Middle School on Church Street. The board also unanimously approved a Community Development Block Grant program to fund emergency heating systems and related code-compliant repairs for one to three low-to-moderate-income homeowners, with the Montachusett Regional Planning Commission providing program management.
Treasury warrants totaling $1.11 million in combined spending received unanimous approval across four separate votes.
