Shirley Recreation Commission increases youth basketball fees for 2027 season
Shirley Recreation Commission voted unanimously to increase Shirley Youth Basketball fees by $5 per player for the 2026-2027 season.

Shirley Recreation Commission voted unanimously to increase Shirley Youth Basketball fees by $5 per player for the 2026-2027 season. Members Keith Begun, Linda Cournoyer, and Jonathan Deforge approved the increase, estimated to generate $200 to $400 in additional revenue to purchase uniforms and basketballs and build equipment-replacement reserves. Basketball registration fees have not risen in four years.
Registration opens October 6 through November 18, with the season running November 30 through February 13, 2027.
